What are drop off and pickup times?
Monday through Friday 8:00-11:30 and 2:00-5:30
Saturdays 8:00-11:30
Sundays 4:00-6:00
What shots does my pet need?
All pets must have up-to-date shots. For dogs this includes Rabies, DHLP and Bordatella vaccines. Cats require Rabies, Feline Leukemia and FVRCP. You must provide proof of these vaccinations prior to check-in.
Does my pet have to be a certain age to board?
Puppies and kittens must be at least 16 weeks old and have all vaccines commensurate with age.
What other activities do you offer?
Playtime – Supervised playtime in our large, fenced paddock
Nature Walks – a 30 minute walk on our 5 acres of walking trails
One-on-one playtime including Frisbee, tennis balls and fun.
Will my pet pick up fleas at Bed and Biscuit?
Unlikely, but possible. Any pet arriving with fleas or ticks will be dipped and bathed at the owner’s expense. We practice strict cleaning methods to help prevent infestations of pests.
Can my pet be bathed or groomed before pickup?
Yes, we offer a full array of grooming services including baths, nail clipping, and full grooms. Grooming appointments are limited, especially on weekends, so please book early.
What kinds of food are provided at Bed and Biscuit?
We provide Iams or Purina One, but we strongly urge you to bring your own food to avoid digestive upsets.
Do you administer medication?
Yes, we can administer medication at no additional charge.
How does Bed and Biscuit meet my pet’s daily needs?
Bed and Biscuit uses the most up-to-date and comprehensive boarding software on the market. Daily printouts tells us of your pet’s daily food, exercise and medicine requirements.
How do I get to Bed and Biscuit?
From I-40 East take Exit #59 (Swannanoa). Take a left off of the exit ramp and go to the stoplight and turn right onto Highway 70 East. At the second stoplight, turn left onto Grovestone Road. At the next stoplight, go straight (road becomes North Fork Road). We are 1/2 mile on the left.
